Wow, you seem to have bad luck with doors. Even before Alice popped up in wonderland, the Queen of Hearts was delighting in the psychological torture of her subjects. You, a former card soldier, were recently imprisoned for having untied shoelaces in her court, and of course were put on death row. Lucky for you, the Queen is getting bored of the old head chopping routine, and wants to try out a more entertaining execution style from a story she read. Maybe, if you’re clever, you could use this opportunity to escape.
The Red Knight takes you to a red corridor with three red doors, each with a sign hanging on it. Behind each door, you may find the keys to your freedom, or a very hungry tiger.
Door 1: “A TIGER IS IN ROOM II”
Door 2: “A TIGER IS IN THIS ROOM”
Door 3: “A TIGER IS IN ROOM I”
The Knight explains that sign on the door containing the keys to your shackles is true, and that at least one of the other two signs was false.
“What if two rooms contain tigers,” you ask pointlessly.
The Knight lets out a grating laugh. You get the picture.
Which door do you pick?
